Mystic Cave
An old abandoned cave, hidden behind the Mackenzie Falls. Moss and mushrooms cover the walls, along with a trickling old stream running down the center. The stones are worn and long eroded, obviously being here for long, the stories of the cave carved into the walls. But what secrets does this place hold?

Re: Mystic Cave
Ice patiently cleaned her ears and stayed in the shadows. Her dark russet pelt blended into the shadows as she quietly secluded herself. The red fox pricked her ears and smirked. New scent, new person. Ice hid herself well.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos paddled into the cave, narrowing his eyes at the shadows, nose slightly scrunched as he goes through the routine smells. It seemed like someone else was here, though their scent was muffled, so the young jackal just shook it off. He shook his pelt as he absorbed the features of the cave, eyes sparkling as he took in everything, grinning slightly to himself, proud of his new find. He was fairly ahead of Tamriel, so he sat on the moist floor of the cave, patiently waiting for the Maned Wolf.
Re: Mystic Cave
Ice stepped quietly out of the shadows. She appeared behond Fos and said, "Boo." The female waited for his reaction. She gave a slight chuff of amusement and anticipation.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos jumped as he heard the voice, flinching and spinning around, paws skidding himself to a stop as he tried to stop scrambling around. The fur on his back rippled, and he slightly snarled. He straightened his posture, relaxing slightly as he realized that he was just slightly bigger than the fox - he had the advantage, if only barely. ¨Uh, hi... Who are you?¨
Re: Mystic Cave
Ice's gaze never wavered. "Jumpy, are we?"The female gave another chuff of amusement. She saw him snarl. Ice got into a fighting position. "Want a fight, eh? Bring it." She growled.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos huffed, shoulders tensing, bending into a fighting position as well. ¨Heh, you couldn't take me, little fox.¨ Fos giggled, shaking his head slightly, shoulders slouching. "I'm not one for fighting, though, sorry. 'm Fos."
Re: Mystic Cave
"Oh really?" The red fox slipped underneath Fos and knocked his paws out from under him, quickly slipping out from under him. The female pinned him down and growled, "Ice."

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos only blinked before he was shoved to the ground, mouth slightly open, he growled, pushing the fox off of himself. He shook the dirt off of his pelt, standing up, frowning slightly. "Why are you here, anyways?" He mumbled, feeling a bit introverted against Ice. "This is our territory."
Re: Mystic Cave
Ice laughed innocently. "Oh, can't you spare a few morsels?" She taunted amthough she pricked her ears as he seemed to mention there was a pack here. "Why am I here? The better question is, why not?"

Re: Mystic Cave
"We can spare some prey, I suppose," Fos mumbled, narrowing his eyes at the fox,Hurricane's scoldings of being polite echoing in his head. A small idea popping into his mind. "Unless, you know, you'd like to join our pack?" He asked hesitantly, glacing back at the opening of the cave as if the Maned Fox would come help him through this, usually only Zacals allowed members in the pack, and Fos had never exactly done this before.
Re: Mystic Cave
Surprised flickered in Ice's eyes momentarily. "Well, I suppose... She sniffed. "But don't think you can boss me around! The red foxwould be difficult just forbthw sake of it.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos huffed. "I am the leader of the pack," He shot a snarky look to Ice, before turning towards the stream, which was laced with fungi and weeds. "I can boss you around as much I as want... You have rank in mind? You wouldn't make such a bad Dief."
Re: Mystic Cave
Ice snarled at the leader, but said nothing. "What is a Dief?" The red fox tilted her head and sneered at the odd name that slipped Fos' mouth.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos rolled his eyes at the fox's innocence. "They're real sneaky," He mumbled. "And smart, too." He shrugged, walking towards the water. "You just don't seem like the 'warrior' type, is all."
Re: Mystic Cave
The red fox bristled. She launched herself at Fos and fastened her teeth into his front leg, piercing the flesh. Ice let go and growled. "Make me whatever you want!" The female said woth teeth bared and gleaming.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos snarled, wincing at the pain that fell from his now-oozing leg, it took a moment for him to register what was going on. He growled at her, teeth flaring, anger flashing in his eyes. Velvet red flowed out from his leg, blending in with the caramel coloring on his pelt. "Don't," He warned. "Do that again." His voice was suprisingly calm. "Or I won't be so nice."
Re: Mystic Cave
Ice's voice and eyes were filled with mock fear. "Oh no! I quiver with fear!..." The red fox then smiled and drew her tail around her paws. "So tell me about this so called pack of yours." She said, completey changing the subject.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos let his shoulders sag slightly, as he let his head droop down and lapping up the gushing blood. Once the flow had mostly stopped, he glanced back up. "There's not much to say, we're not a very big pack. Just starting out."
Re: Mystic Cave
Ice shrugged and glanced at his wound. She made a sound of reluctant apology. The red fox chuffed and calmly settled down on the floor.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos just hummed in understanding, sitting down on the moist cave floor as well, not really ready to accept the fox's apology. He glanced up at her, shaking his head slightly. "Uh, we only have four members so far, five counting you. We need all the help we can get, to be honest..."
Re: Mystic Cave
Ice narrowed her eyes. She let out a murmur of contempt. The red fox said nothing. She still didn't particularly like Fos, but the light of battle had died from her eyes.

Re: Mystic Cave
"Uh, Tammy should be comin' in a second - and you better not hurt her. She's expecting pups in a few moons." Fos sighed, head resting on his paws, being sure not to touch the wound that soiled his leg. He glanced over at the small stream, the nature and shadows that surrounding it feeling like whole other worlds. "You can go explore, 'ma wait for her though."
Re: Mystic Cave
The vixen growl. She turned her head away and stared at the entrance to the tunnel, eyes gleaming with interest. The lass did have a soft spot for pups and elders.

Re: Mystic Cave
Fos just shrugged, face burying farther into his paws. Sighing softly, he rolled over, glacing at the cave walls. "Just... Be nicer, she's going through a hard time right now, little fox."
