The Twisting Den
First topic message reminder :
This den is a maze of tunnels intertwined with each other, only the members knowing how to get through it without being lost. A small hole in the roof lets water drip into the den and leaves a large pool of water for the canids. This is the main roleplay area.

Re: The Twisting Den
Skyfall watched Hurricane herd another Dingo that looked almost like him away from another pack member as the two males bickered in the distance. Sure, this happens all the time in her old pack, but Skyfall is used to all the drama. Besides, she has a new pack, yet she does admit that she miss her brother Sirius and her sister Europa. They always cheer Skyfall up and took her mind off of all the pack drama between males and females.
Re: The Twisting Den
Connor snorted, laughing, glancing at Haytham before making a fart sound with his tongue. "You and your shiny things" he stated, wagging his tail. "So I guess it's only me and this beautiful sexy tree" he said, scratching his back with the tree. He noticed Lucha under the tree, then snorted.

Re: The Twisting Den
Blue became acutely aware of Connor's father's presence and shuffled her paws in an embarrassed way. "Er... hello. I'm Blue. Connor's.... aquintance." She said to Haythm, afraid if she said friend he would tease Connor, or her, even more.

Layla's mind drifted away as she spotted someone new. She excused herself from Hurricane and bounded up to her, wagging her tail. "Oy! Hi there!" she called. "Name's Layla, wa's yours?"

Re: The Twisting Den
(I assume that you're talking to me.)
Skyfall was surprised to find the young female Dingo that looked exactly like Hurricane hopping towards her. "Hi there." The female said. "Name's Layla, wa's yours?"
"Nice to meet you Layla. I'm Skyfall." Skyfall said. She don't know if she should ask Layla if she's related to Hurricane or not. It could be rude to say to someone Skyfall just met.

Re: The Twisting Den
(No I was talking to Blue because she was online when I posted this. Usually in RPs we post to someone who is online.)
Layla jumped at the sound of another voice. She could've sworn she was talking to the female next to Haytham. She turned around to face a mexican gray, and had to force a smile. She doesn't like to converse with someone she didn't approach to first.

Re: The Twisting Den
Lucha looked up at Connor, who seemed to be... Mating, with the tree. She raised an eyebrow, and smirked mockingly. Her eyes lit with amusement as he tried to taunt his father.
"Ye naughty, naughty Bloke," She teased in a voice loud enough for the wolf clinging to the branches to hear.
She looked towards the elder male, who appeared to be Connor's father, and offered a welcoming grin. Narrowing her eyes to take a closer look at Connor's position, the tall female added to her string of witty lines.
"Is this tha best mate ye can find? A tree?" She chuckled with delight, her deep voice cracking while she laughed. Her shaggy tail pounded against the ground.

Re: The Twisting Den
Connor looked under him, and heard Lucha comment a few things. He made a duckface, and rolled over on his stomach. legging three of his legs hang, and the other one supporting him on the tree branch. "Why yes, they're quiet, natural, comfortable, and big" he stated, wagging his tail.

Blue snorted at Lucha's joke. 'There are some odd members."' She chuckled to herself. She yawned, laying down, then realized Layla approach. She was about to reply when Skyfall interrupted her. Getting back up, she walked a bit away, wanting a moment to herself.

Re: The Twisting Den
Skyfall, who felt embarrassed, stalked off to a nice spot next to a stream. She always seems to barge in conversations. Right now Skyfall wants to be alone.
Re: The Twisting Den
Layla watched Skyfall walk away, then turned back to her original form of contact. She cleared her throat. "Sor' ray 'bout that."

Ken'ichi had dozed off without realizing, and suddenly pricked up his ears and awoke. He didn't feel very well. He rolled back onto his side, struggling to get comfortable. He soon got back to sleep, his ears tucked up against his head, and his jaws parted open awkwardly, dool dripping from his mouth.

Re: The Twisting Den
Skyfall gazed into the stream, watching the tiny fish swimming around. They seem to be so free, not having to worry about embarrassing themselves to others around them. Sometimes Skyfall feels as if no wolf seems to want to talk to her. Today just seems like that happening.
Skyfall took a quick drink, then got up. She padded towards the hunting grounds to get something to eat. Perhaps hunting will cheer her up.

Re: The Twisting Den
Bamboo wandered around the den aimlessly. She longed for the presence of her mate, Radioactive, walking alongside her. She lowered her head, and eyed the other members. There were now three Dingoes in the pack, and Hurricane seemed thrilled that one of his family members survived. Lucha, on the other hand, appeared to be keeping her distance from everyone. Bamboo figured she would talk with her soon. Her dark green gaze rested on the ground as she paused to sit in front of the entrance to the den.
Re: The Twisting Den
Radioactive yawned as he approached the den. He had left Bamboo's side to look around. Seeing her at the moment, he smiled and continued walking, unaware she was looking for him. The Akinyemi flicked his ta, stretching and finally laying down. His blue eyea glinted as he looked up at the sky.

Re: The Twisting Den
Skyfall went back to the den, carrying three rabbits in her mouth. She felt better from hunting. Then she saw a pretty female wolf looking at the ground. Skyfall looked at her, unsure either she should introduce herself or not. Perhaps this time Skyfall won't be embarrassed.
Re: The Twisting Den
(The Holiday RP event will begin... Now!)
Lucha wondered what good she could do for the pack. Her craving to kill would need to be controlled this holiday. She lifted her chin to the sky, and took in a lengthy breath. She could smell the strong scent of metal nearby.
The humans had finally arrived!
The Lead Consilium thought about this for a minute, not removing her stare from the distant smell.
'Ditch thays wimps an find me ah new home? Nah, I'd miss Hurry-cane, an Ken...' She mused, narrowing her eyes in deep thought.
'May-bay thay could cam alang? All af am? Oy! A trip! Thas whot oi'll do feh 'em!' A wide smile bared her teeth as she detected the solution.
She ignored the father and son's presence behind her as she quickly loped away towards the entrance of the den. Bamboo had been sitting there practically all day, as she had observed.
"Oy, me cobb'as! Falla me!" Lucha called with a joyful smile. She would have to get used to acting like this if she was going to be jolly this holiday.

Re: The Twisting Den
Hurricane blink as Lucha loped along, shouting happily. "Lucha, where are you going?" He asked, scrambling to his paws and trotting after the female. "Where are we going?" His hackles raising as human scent drifted across his nostrils.

Re: The Twisting Den
Lucha ignored Hurricane, only to collect her thoughts. Where were they going? To the humans, of course. But where would the biologists take her and her pack? This was a mystery.
"Danno, Mate... Bat trast me. Thay nice people." She finally replied, flicking her tail to dismiss the topic. She knew the Leader would not want to lead his pack into danger, but Lucha was always willing for adventure. The sound of a helicopter was nearby; she was sure of it. They were extremely close now. Maybe a few more meters.
Humans:
Nelson took a confident leap out of the helicopter, releasing his grip on the protective handlebar.
"Lucha? You around here?" He called out, holding a hand over his eyes.
He wore a long, white lab coat, with many pens and pencils stuffed into a tiny front pocket. A pair of shiny sunglasses hung off of the string around his neck. He placed them neatly on his nose, now removing his hand, as it no longer needed to provide him shade. He stroked his hand into the side of his well-groomed hair.
"Lucha?" Nelson repeated, taking steps around the area. However, no canine seemed to hear him. He stood still, and waited for the domestic creature to approach.

Re: The Twisting Den
Layla yelped in surprise as she saw creatures she'd never seen before. Lucha seems to be completely calm however, but she wasn't about to willingly follow her brother into the arms of something that looks dangerous. "Lucha!" she called after the maned wolf. "W'at are those thangs?"

Re: The Twisting Den
Lucha was not very fond of Layla, nor most other females. She disregarded her panic, and trotted forward in delight. The man's outstretched hands embraced her neck, and she obediently nuzzled his shoulder. Once they both released each other, Lucha stood by his side with a wide smile. She was more than half Nelson's height. With a pat on Lucha's head an her affectionate growl, he took a step closer to the timid Dingoes.
"Oh, you made friends, Lucha?" He observed, eyeing the siblings from paw to ear. A kind smile curled his pink lips.
"Maybe they can come, too."
Lucha nodded furiously, and tugged on his flowing lab-coat. Her tail whisked rapidly.

Re: The Twisting Den
Hurricane flattened his ears and growled as Lucha showed affection to this.. this human. "Lucha? Lucha, what do you think you're doing!" He snarled although it faded into a concerned yelp. He was afraid of leading his pack into danger. He knew he could trust Lucha, but now… he thought she was losing it.

Re: The Twisting Den
Lucha frowned a bit, though she still felt childish around her owner, and kept her cheer at a high level.
"Hurry-cane! He be takin' as ta... Ta... I danno, samwhere fan!" She exclaimed, which sounded like a mere series of barks to Nelson from one canine to the other.
Lucha stepped closer to Hurricane, and dipped her head down close to his face. For once, she looked at him with a serious face.
"Ye gatta trast me, Mate. Ah else, I ain't ganna be heah fa anoth'a secand." She nodded, and stepped away, her tail fluttering down to her rump.
This was true. If Lucha was not constantly transported, she would be killed, as if she had no use. However, nobody knew this. All they though was that Lucha was Nelson's crazed fan. She was, however, would not reveal his identity.
"What'll it be? You dogs coming?" Nelson offered with a genuine grin.

Re: The Twisting Den
Hurricane was about to object when he saw Lucha's serious face. Studying her gaze for a moment, he gave aslight nod. "Okay." He said. The male let out a series of barks, telling the pack to gather around him and Lucha. "Just know if anything happens, it's on you." He told Lucha through narrowed eyes.

Re: The Twisting Den
Lucha chuckled as if she knew everything about everything, and glared at Hurricane as if he were a child.
"Pleas'a dain' business weth ye, Mate. Hah, what'd ye think; I'd lead ye oll ta ye doom?" She pointed her muzzle up at Nelson, baring her teeth in a blank smile.
Nelson reached down once more to stroke her mane down. She closed her eyes in relief, and flattened her ears. He blinked in disbelief as an entire pack of canines arrived to the male Dingo's side.
"You're all coming... Too?" He laughed a bit, counting each 'friend' Lucha had made.
